Mini Black Walnut Turkish Spindle

Hand Rubbed Finish

Handmade and hand finished Turkish spindle. These are from Black Walnut wood with a birch shaft. This is a multiple item listing and spindles have a weight of between 9 and 10 grams, a 3" diameter whorl and is on a 1/4" 4 1/2 inch long hardwood shaft. As with all my items these have been tested by my wife who is an avid spinner and knitter. This is the mini version of our very popular larger Turkish whorl. Last picture shows both together for comparison. Any doubts check my feedback!

These items are hand made from natural wood - wood has it's own grain and colorations. We hand sand each item with several different grits of sandpaper. Finally, each item receives hand applied finishes and then they are air dried on a non-stick surface, to bring out the beauty of the wood and designs.
